We started the second part of the course "Lingüística para la Enseñanza de la Lengua Extranjera" (Linguistics for the Teaching of a Foreign Language) which is about English Phonetics. Here I will post all the materials developed in class.
Objectives:
- Develop a passive knowledge of the sound structure of English.
- To develop phonetic skills aiming at acquiring an acceptable, relatively native-like sounding English.
- To gain practice in phonological transcription, ear training and oral production.
